Customer IP Address Sheet - Revised

One of the types of calls we'd receive on a regular basis at Phoenix Internet were new wireless service customers asking how to configure their computer operating system to connect to the Internet. There was a customer IP address sheet that the installers gave to each new customer; see old version below; but it didn't give the novice computer user any directions. Eventually, too much time was being dedicated to walking customers through their operating systems to help them program their assigned IP addresses so they could get to the Internet.

In an effort to reduce these types of calls, I revised the Customer IP Address Sheet. Now, it included easy to understand directions, relevant pictures, and guidelines. Another feature I added was a troubleshooting section so customers could try to solve their problems prior to calling technical support. As a result of the service installers giving each new wireless customer a revised Customer IP Address Sheet, the number of operating system configuration and wireless service troubleshooting calls was significantly reduced.
